Looking at Principles for Teaching

Mike teaches this session to the combined group of men and women. Not only is it important to realize that we are commanded to teach, but that it is exciting to spread the Word. You will be energized and motivated to teach GOD’s Word, GOD’s way.

Our Awesome GOD

In this session, the participants are divided into groups. Mike instructs the men and Teresa the women. Bringing to life the lessons from the pages of GOD’s word is necessary for the students to gain understanding. This session is a quick overview of the scriptures from Genesis through the spreading of the church. There are handouts as well as class participation.

Memory Checks

For this session, the group is reunited and the information learned is reviewed. This is done utilizing some of the methods taught.

Developing a Lesson

Again, the participants are divided into two groups with the men and women being instructed in different areas. This session deals with tools and methods, as well as an outline for the teacher to use for developing their own materials or to enhance materials purchased. A wide variety of suggestions are used to illustrate how they can be incorporated into lessons and maintain integrity with the LORD.

Make It and Take It

This divided session is a hands-on activity. Materials will be provided for each participant to make projects that can be used in their own classes. Each activity will have full instructions as well as patterns for each one to take home. Those preparing to teach adult or teen classes will actually develop lessons to use.

Measuring the Results

All of us need fresh ideas and encouragement. This session gives each participant an opportunity to ask questions, offer suggestions and share ideas.
